5 new improvisations recorded in two sessions on 28/03/2019.

Coming back to the Piano at least once a year to record something for the Piano Day has become a beloved tradition for me.
As I always turn my brain off when recording these pieces it's always like a mirror of how I changed musically since the last session. This year it's french baroque music, for me most notable on track 2 and 4, which is a re-imagination of François Couperin's piece "Les Amusemens", repeating small bits of it over and over.

Yuzu is a piece I keep coming back to - I want to revist it again for a future piano album. I have some fragmented sheet music for it as well, let me know if you are interested.

This year's EP is recorded on the old and beautiful piano of my late great-aunt. It's really large and has an almost felt-like tone.
